Local swell, wind, and tide notes for Wellfleet

LeCount Hollow (Maguire Landing) is a secluded Wellfleet beach with powerful Outer Cape waves. Less crowded than Cahoon or Marconi but still fully exposed to Atlantic swell.

Best swell
East swell is prime. The break rewards period - look for 6+ second intervals on our forecast for better push.
Best wind
West offshore wind grooms the faces. WNW texture above 5 mph is flagged on northern Outer Cape spots.
Tide tip
Mid tide often balances bar shape and paddle access. Steep shorebreak can be intense at low tide.
Skill level
Intermediate to advanced. Remote feel but real power when swell arrives.

Is LeCount Hollow crowded?

Generally less crowded than Cahoon Hollow or Marconi. It is still popular with locals when conditions are good.

What swell works best at LeCount Hollow?
